I got interviewed in February 2022 in Oracle and selected for writer role. Submitted documents for BGV and HR confirmed BGV was successful. My offer letter was pending for VP approval and suddenly there was a position freeze until May 3rd week as Oracle was acquiring another company. Recently I called HR and he said that he will update me in June 2nd week. What are the chances of getting the offer?

I was offered a promotion but due to internal policies the max comp they could offer was way under market value. I countered and was denied. I took time to think about it, being disappointed I applied for other jobs. Monday came and I decided to accept the offer. A week before starting my new position I got a call for one of the jobs I applied for. I am now going through to the last round of interviews the same week I start my new position. Would it be bad practice to accept another offer now?

How have other people dealt with being the only woman on their team? I’m currently the only female on a team of 18 engineers. I’m treated as an equal and I love my team. It’s literally just that I’m the only woman and I find it kind of hard to relate to some of my coworkers. I’ve already talked to my manager about hiring more women (discussed this when the only other woman left the team for a team that was more balanced) but we can’t just put out an ad saying “women please apply”, y’know?

Got rejected after a final round with LinkedIn for a PM role. Was informed that I was one of the two candidates who made it to the final round but the other candidate was chosen due to more relevant prior experience. The recruiter mentioned that the HC will be opening a similar role in 1-2weeks and I said I was interested. Its been 3 weeks of radio silence since then and I’ve followed up once. I had an interview where the interviewer was acting extremely weird-almost as if she was trying to deter me from wanting the position. I shared about it in another bowl and many people suggested reaching out to the recruiter. After a lot of anxiety and overthinking, I reached out. I reiterated my interest and specifically said the interview was bad in my opinion. What are your thoughts?? Will I just be ghosted?

I recently started a new sales position, and I know I’m making a lower commission rate than my male counterparts. Could be that I’m new, and they decided to lower it and not because I’m a female. My direct manager is trying to adjust it because we were both told 1% and when my commission started I was at .8%. Any advice would help, I never signed anything that had a commission rate on it. But I’m pretty sure our base as a company has always been 1%.

Most jobs I find online ask for atleast 2 years clinical experience.
Does anyone have any tips on how to procure this experience? Should I invest in a course? Or should I volunteer at a CRO?
