BREAKING – The San Francisco and New York advertising community has agreed to merger. The bi-coastal cites will now share both agency wins as well as a common name: SanNewFranciscoYork.

Geometry was a merger! and it’s not even that old. It was the merger of OgilvyAction, JWT Shopper and G2. that didn’t take long.

Honestly surprised it didn't happen sooner

This one actually seems to make sense. You don’t need a stand alone agency infrastructure for geometry. All that back office accounting stuff duplicated can be done more efficiently. Less CFOs, less accounting etc.

Anyone know of any good tools/resources with job prospects for 65+ trying to find employment after behind laid off during COVID? I imagine many have been forced into early retirement. Unfortunately, it appears the discrimination is very real when it comes to allowing “retirees” to participate in our workforce.

I just started at a firm and I’m new to billing. I’m getting a steady stream of billable work but I’ve had some down time as well as non-billable required trainings/meetings. How do you meet billing requirements if you are not billing for some or all of your workday?

In the middle of a compensation conversation. I was asked why I think I should be paid more, but wasn’t asked how much I expect. Is this normal?

Hi All, Would pursuing an executive MBA from a top B-School be a good idea for an experienced professional with 9+ YoE? CTC : 22 lac+ Current Org: Big 4 Been thinking this over a lot as this would involve a lot of money and of course my time; Also, I might be full of regret later on for giving it a proper shot. Would I be risking stability and money for this? My wife is fine with this though. Opinions pls.

Applied to a couple product manager positions with companies I was very excited about. Received rejection emails from 2 within a couple days of applying. Any advice? Would you re-apply via a different channel? Try to connect with people who work there on LinkedIn? Just feels like the door got slammed in my face without anyone peeking through the peephole.

Have anyone done contracting negotiations before? I've interviewed for co A & B and co A extended an offer today. The offer does not meet my current salary. Co B's interview structure is 3 rounds and I've finished my 2nd round today. The recruiter mentioned that since I am a contractor my current salary is incomparable as they will provide benefits, etc. Is this true? I have 2 yrs of contracting HR exp from fortunate 500 co’s & OMW to get my SHRM-CP. Appreciate your advice in advance.

Hello! I have a two part question: 1) is it worth it to obtain an SHRM specialty credential if I don’t have the broader SHRM certification? 2) has anyone gotten the People Analytics or Talent Acquistion credential? If so, how valuable was it from a learning perspective? Do you feel it significantly contributed to your knowledge in either area? Thank you!
