Another Google interview that I failed to clear 😢 please share words of support.

Is it common to reach out to a recruiter for an informational interview in the same way you would to some one in strategy? (For an agency you love but there's no openings currently posted)

I’m at a huge standstill in my career. Looking for any advice or tips !
I graduated Dec 2017 with a finance degree. I left my first job after 6 months after a new job offer and sadly the new job was not all gold so quit after a year in 2019 (harassment and toxic environment). I have been unemployed since. I had some interviews but no call backs. Don’t know if I should go back to school or what to even do at this point. Had my resume redone as well and interview coaching.

How’s the compensation change if the company recently went public. Interviewed pre ipo and was told it was 115k plus 60k of stock. Now the company is public and I see the same role, will compensation be similar?

Preparing for interviews and having a tough time doing MECE brainstorming and structuring. It’s like my brain goes blank or thinks narrowly. Any tips or suggestions on how to improve? Currently been using Crafting Cases and Rocket Blocks

Looking for inputs on ML Consultant (L6) role @AWS in Seattle. Curious to understand how hands-on coding intensive this role is likely to be? I have not been involved in coding for the last 2-3 years and focused more on managerial roles.

P.S. The JD includes hands-on coding as a requirement but no coding questions or tests during the interviews

After kicking a$$ in an interview, how long would you wait for the recruiter to get back with you before following up for an update?

I had an in-house interview last week. I was invited to then take a legal assessment this week. I submitted that Tuesday. Is it too soon to follow up? Should I wait until next week?

Question about cooldown!

After not receiving an offer from McKinsey I thought I was in cooldown however a recruiter reached out to me to interview for a more internal role. Then there was a hiring pause and the interview stopped. Am I still on cooldown? Did it reset due to the hiring pause? Please help 😭

Started at a new company recently. Got lowballed on the role without knowing it and they’re essentially making me do the stuff of the grade below.

I feel like the manager I’m working for is trying to break my spirit by only criticising me rather than acknowledging what I’ve done. I’ve also got a sneaking suspicion they’re trying to weed me out in “unrelated” ways I could never prove since I disclosed my clinical depression and a learning disability to them.

I have no idea what to do.

Bit of a serious confession but here goes. How do you stop giving a shit what people think about you?
