I just switched jobs and took on a PM role in a profile I really wanted. I'm planning to again start job hunting as the there's a big expectation mismatch compared to the reality (project instead of product management).
If i am "open to work" on LinkedIn, but only for the recruiters, does LinkedIn reset the "since" date to 0? Or will it calculate my "open to work" from the previous time (was also only "open to work" for recruiters back then)?

I have a client who wants to book me out for the next 6 months. The quality of work is meh and brands are small which makes for a bit of a boring experience + no chance of portfolio work, but the pay is good.

I’m trying to get more work w exciting agencies and am currently chatting w a few right now about upcoming work. I feel like it will come through, and if it does I’ll kick myself if I’m booked for the next 6 months.

How do I keep the first client at bay w/out closing the door on them?

Do you have someone in your office/group that you just loathe? They’ve only been on good projects with strong project teams since they’ve started. I’ve gone to them for help in the past via a partners suggestion but came to find out they’ve had their hand held the whole time. How do you get past feeling jealous and annoyed because you work your ass off and are supposedly a top performer but still get put on shit projects with no help? Is it really just time to walk? I’ve been having issues with mice in my apartment since early November. I’ve used all types of traps, bait, and hired an exterminator (with my own money) who just laid more traps/bait. I got a quote today from a different company for $670 because they will remove my dishwasher and reinstall it and seal holes there and in the cabinet. I keep on interviewing for new roles and keep on getting passed up. Am told my experience is great, but there are more qualified candidates. I have asked for feedback and understand everyone is busy, but I’m getting really frustrated. I have no tech background (business bachelor/master degree + few years banking work experience) but I realized that I actually enjoy the technical topics.
