I don’t recall my current job spelling that out either in my offer. Im not planning on having kids in the immediate future but I am curious of the policy at the new firm. Have you ever negotiated a severance? Company ended my employment and wants me to sign a mutual non-disparagement, waive suing them, etc. but they didn't offer me any money. They are fully in the wrong, it's a disability related issue. My options are 1. Sign 2. Refuse to sign 3. Try to negotiate. 4. Sue them (contingent on attorney taking the case). Our 3 year old cat got diagnosed with a heart issue. Moms, I have been noticing that my sons daycare has been posting his snapshots/update pictures relatively less since last 2 weeks.
