Drinking wise, I started doing 1-2 alcoholic drinks then switched to diet Sprite. Then eventually I switched to la croix. It took a few months but now I’m really content with 1-2 drinks. Also if you drink wine at home, get a Coravin so you’re not “wasting” the bottle
Food wise, I have a salad for lunch on the weekends and go ham at dinner. I get the binge I need to make this feel sustainable and have less guilt because I had a healthy lunch
I did similarly to reduce drinking alcohol except I stopped drinking alcohol entirely. If you’re a woman read Quitting like a Woman, unlikely to be completely on point but has an interesting perspective.
I plan ahead. If I know I’m going to be out later in the day with friends.. I’ll leave X calories available. You will def go over lmao, but it’s good to give that buffer. Luckily it’s only Saturday for me
Yeah or just work out at home. I work out at home every day for about 30 min just simple stuff like pushups, squats, yoga.. and go to the gym when I can. Which ends up being anywhere from 0-7 times a week. There I will run around the track, lift weights, shoot hoops, swim etc. But I don’t let the transaction of getting to the gym get in the way of at least some activity.
One cheat day is not the end of the world, it’s the multiple “bad” days that can be concerning.
I stopped drinking heavily on Friday night because I wanted to actually enjoy my Saturday, get a workout in, spend quality time with my wife, etc. etc.
Think about the future losses you are incurring by overindulging in booze. Plus hangovers are the biggest self-own.
Change your environment for a few weekends. Different place, different people.
And skip the alcohol for a few weekends. Call it a cleanse when you talk to friends. Go to a class where you won’t have as much free range to snacks and drinks. Go on a long walk/hike.
People can join who are in stress due to work or any personal reason. Also can share their stress. Belive me if u share ur stess , frustration then u will feel better. Expecting moral support for those who need it
Eliminate/reduce alcohol, my friend. Your mind and body will function so much better.
If you need to get high, I'd suggest edibles.

Are you restricting yourself too much during the week?
I don’t think so. I watch what I eat and I don’t drink during the week. Mostly because I’m just busy

Yeah you have to just use self control. If you have an addictive personality, try to get addicted to fitness.

You can do it!
Hangover sadness has been bad for me. I’ve been trying to not drink as much mostly because I don’t want to ruin one of the days I have off in bed.
Bro same...
