OP I know we're on the same team, but I want you to know that you're the worst.

like

" truly deserving clients" must be non profit. Lol

Yup

@D2 if you're smart and capable you can make a lot more money doing something else so why stay if you hate your life so much.

like

@P1 that's overly simplistic. There are deserving for profit clients and undeserving non profits.

D2&3 you should start a support group

Yeah I'm with D2&3... Not because I hate my job but because I don't support the notion that if I'm not "on" 24/7 I can't be successful or that I must be apathetic. And honestly this post seems a little self congratulatory. Good on you though for being so #dedicated.

Who should I trade for? 12 team standard league. Feel like I have too much depth on the bench (Elijah Mitchell, Julio, diante Johnson, devonta smith) to not make a trade. I’m thinking I would probably be open to trading for a top tier wr, Rb, or tight end. Or even consider trading for a middle of the pack tight end.

My firm recently merged with another firm, and it is starting to feel distinctly more “corporate.” All of their decisions are metric-driven now—billables, realization rates, client and matter origination, business development hours. I’m missing the community feeling of the old firm, when I was more than just a number. Any advice on how to adapt? Is this just COVID burnout?

Need advice for resigning while on bench. I already have a start date with the new employer. Should I do a traditional two week notice or give <=1 week notice instead? My goal is to not burn bridges, but I also don’t want to get let go on the spot since I have nothing to “wrap up” besides HR tasks. I’ve read on here that sometimes they will let you go day of and pay you out for two weeks but I don’t see why any firm would do that for somebody not currently performing billable work...

Okay something kind of weird happened. Started a new project today with all new people. We met in person today and manager left for home after checkout around 5PM. Three Associates on my team were planning to get dinner, I said I was going to bail to go workout and eat at home. This girl screams at me in front of the whole floor “you are so fake!! you are not going to workout. you’re being fake.” I’m just standing there in shock like what? She’s like “what are you even going to do at the gym”…
