How do start a new career at 50?
So, can everyone who has a second tell me who they used to study for their testing. Indiana is my state but most of the tests are similiar so any notes, downloads, quizlet, books you could refer me to, or even a person that teaches for pay. Anything would be awesome. Matthewwcates@icloud.com thanks.

I am a lover of manual cars and Porsche is one of the few makers that continues to produce them for enthusiasts like myself. I have a 996 911 turbo, a 911 gt3 touring, and a Cayman gt4 all with three pedals. Can recommend nothing more. I even put snow tires on my turbo and drive it through our Midwest winters :)

991 GT3?
Edit: realized that’s the in gen that had the touring
Macan GTS owner, but never met a 911 owner who hasn’t had a great experience with the exception of Nick Murray. Maybe in a year or two I’ll join the 992 club...
Love Nick Murray. Started following when he had his M4 (previous F80 M3 owner) and love his Porsche content. Makes me want a Porsche now...
Previous 991.2 C4S owner here. It’s an awesome car. One of the best sport cars in the market with solid build quality.
Have owned several Porsche’s but not a 911. Every time I’ve considered one, I never follow through. I find them to be a little overpriced brand new and they don’t sound that great outside of the gt models. Most recently I was looking at a carerra 4s and got a BMW M850 as a weekend toy for 50k less than the 911
I've had many Porsche and actually used to work for them. Which year/ generation are you looking to get? (993,996,997.1,997.2,991.1,991.2,992)? It makes a difference if you're worrying about reliability/maintenance/ resale value.
I daily a 911 Turbo (996 MT) and couldn’t be happier. It’s obviously not a brand new car and lacks many modern electronics but the driving experience is superb. Big plus is it servers as a capable kids hauler (4yo & 7yo) on many days.
So far I’ve done my maintenance myself so can’t speak to that too much. Parts, etc are on the high side but not ridiculous.
It’s also a 4 season car for me with awd + winter tires there isn’t much it can’t handle (deep snow I suppose but not an issue where I am).
Not an answer to your question but I've owned a Cayman and currently own a Macan and can attest to the quality of Porsche. Zero issues, many smiles
Cayman owner and loving it - so I imagine the 911 is even better haha
Nice. I had a 981 base model and loved it. They're great cars
