Hi fishes! I had asked for benefits other than CTC which Bank of America provides & now that I've completed 1 month here, here's the list of allowances you'll be getting irrespective of position/band:
1. Sodexo: 1300 p.m./ 15,600 p.a.
2. Transport allowance: 900 one way, 1800 two ways p.m./ 21,600 p.a.
3. Internet: 1500 max p.m. (other than that, one time installation charges)
4. Tuition fee: Any certification related to your field. Like CFA, FRM etc. 3,00,000 p.a.

Care to share their experience or insights on the process? I spoke with a benefits specialist and they said it must be a new partnership. I told them we've been together for 5 years and they said I couldn't use it. Seems odd to say it must be a new partnership meaning someone I’ve just started dating. How does this work?
I suspect the person you spoke with doesn’t know what they are talking about. If your program is similar to most, you simply need to provide the right paperwork (typically something showing a joint bank account, mortgage, etc.). Hetero couples where both people work can opt in and out of joint benefits (I.e. optimize their costs) and you should be able to do so as well.
So do I just need to ask how do I enroll and leave it at that?
