Hi Fish Bowl peeps. I’m currently in a client-facing Project Management role that has me stepping outside of my comfort zone and hoping to get some resources that will help me grow.
Throughout my career, I’ve been mainly an internal-facing and tactical-thinking Project Manager. You tell me what the marketing goals and the deliverables are, and I would tell you how we’d get there.
Now I’m currently in a more client-facing role where I’m almost playing a 50/50 hybrid role of account managing and talking to the clients.
I’ve been asked to be a bit more strategic and more comfortable around clients and was wondering if some of you AM folks would know of any resources that would help me channel the bigger-thinking account part of my brain.

What I’ve realized over the years is that what you are describing is sort of like an art form, it comes with practice! There’s no play by play rule book per-say, just do your best and think things through before speaking sometimes (this helped me). Do you have access to someone who could “coach” you as times? Like a supervisor
