I can’t vocalize what I need (because I don’t actually know what I need) and hubs is stressed and I feel like he’s drinking more and just not talking about his feelings. Anyone else navigating this? I don’t even know how to broach this topic. I am all about therapy, has anyone benefitted from couples therapy?

How is everyone staying motivated at work while going through fertility treatments? On days when I have appts or get my period, all I want to do is google and read forums about it. My utilization is tanking (not because I’m blowing off work, but because I need to find and take on new work) but can’t get the energy to). Quick question, I’m starting timed intercourse with medication. I received my ovidrel injextion 4 months ago. It’s been in the fridge. I’m anticipating a potential trigger today or tomorrow (measured today with one 17mm and one 18mm) waiting to hear back on my hormone levels. I assume the fridge was a good call as that’s what the pharmacy reccomended. Should I take it out now? Leave it in till last minute? Thoughts comments?

Traveled for the first time this week since COVID and got the dreaded “do you have kids?” question at team dinner. Him-“do you have kids?” Me- “No, I don’t.” Him-“Oh good! After finally getting approval for my ivf cycle and being on birth control for 2 months -my ivf cycle was delayed for a dominant follicle and they want to reevaluate several weeks later. I don’t have that kind of time. I’m also starting to question the abilities of my doctor as well since his nurses try to act like the doctors and respond on his behalf. Thinking of jumping ship elsewhere.

I did some ivf shopping and now I don’t know which one to choose. One is a university affiliated ivf center and the other one is a local /not a chain fertility center. I am open to suggestions and so overwhelmed.

My wife works in the corporate world and is - unfortunately, rightfully - afraid that the knowledge of our IVF process would destroy chances of her possible imminent promotion. Going for appointments in the middle of the day (early am when possible) forces her to lie - which is a horrible situation to be in. What have others done?
