If your in DC drive over to the Adams Center in VA. It’s a great masjid and plenty of races in attendance. I have fam that’s half white and half Moroccan there. Are you male/ female?

I strongly strongly suggest “making the jump” and just blindly going to the masjid.

I took this past month off for Ramadan, and went to the masjid regularly for the first time not on a Friday. First couple times were nerve wrecking (what do I say? Does everyone know each other but me?) but after greeting everyone I saw with a smile and a Salam I eventually built a nice network of people I could chat with. From there, you’re just another member of the masjid.

I am 100% positive the same thing with happen to you; if anything, you converting + your cool job gives you a great story to tell!

I personally think that’s the best way, show up. Introduce yourself, let people know you’re new to the religion (or looking to learn more, make friends etc)... more often than not, you’ll find one (or some) brothers/sisters that are willing to help/hang out etc.

My senior rarely answers my initial emails/Skype messages/etc. Little background: He’s on another client so I know he’s likely busy but it makes it somewhat difficult to get things done. I have been offered a role as a specilist into pmo team... The offer they made is 16 lpa including variable and my joining is in the first week of sept. It's been more than a week and I haven't got the offer letter yet.
Wanted to know if it's the right offer and is there a structured training program (KT)? Also will I be given a project or I need be on bench and go though the project based interview again?
