Any advice on moving out of pharma when that’s the only experience you have?? I started my career in strategy 5 years ago and want nothing more than to move back into a strategy role. My last two jobs were digital production so I feel like no one will even look at me for a strategy role let alone a non pharma role. Desperate to find a new role… my current agency is awful.

Hi from the UK
I recently accepted a new position in a start-up and received the contract today.
The offer letter mentioned 'enhanced' maternity pay but the contract mentions 'statutory'
I'm not planning on using this benefit anytime soon but that if I need to I won't be messed about.
Any of you UK based would be able to let me know the amount of details they have within this section of their contract? I'm keen to go back to ask further details. Not sure what the norm is?
I have an offers from CapGemini, Cognizant and Infosys. Out of which Cognizant offering more pay. But I came to know that current work culture in Cognizant is worst of all time. I'm really confused which on to choose. Role is senior consultant for sitecore

Experience includes development and purchasing contracts, distribution agreements, patents, trademarks, licensing, data privacy for an international organization with a legal department of one.
Good afternoon! I would like to introduce myself to the market. I started my HR journey about 8 months ago as an Executive Recruiter and have gain plenty of insight into the field and genuinely love the role; however, I don’t believe agency recruitment is in my best interest and I would like to explore/progress my experience in a corporate setting. I am seeking roles including recruiter, talent acquisition, or DEI. Any insight on current or future openings roles would be greatly appreciated!
Do you actually think about hiring the people that do contract - to hire after their contract ends? Seems like post places lie about this and no job ever happens. How can I make sure there's transparency on this?
Can anyone please refer me for Functional manual testing role?
I am currently having 2.7 years of experience
Considering role at KPMG just found out from the offer that I wouldn't get any 401k match until 2 years which wasn't mentioned in interviews just that benefits offer 6% and didn't specify how eligibility works? So if I start I'm not eligible to next year then following year is when the match is paid? That is a lot of time value of money lost. Are other firms more competitive, I'm following up with pending offers from Deloitte and PWC, do they do the same?
What’s the best way to switch gears and get into either an Account Executive or Sales Advisor role that pays a salary with commissions. My background is in Retail Banking (Branch Manager), Treasury Servicing (banking) and most recently in Life Insurance Sales. Want find a role to get my foot in the door and prove myself.
I’m a firm believer that a manager should develop a positive relationship with employees, but I don’t want that to be an invitation to disrespect my authority. How do you know where to draw the line to make this distinction clear?
One thing I was completely unprepared for in pregnancy: horrific stretch marks all over the lower half of my breasts. It looks like I was attacked by a tiger armed with purple ink. Anyone else? Does this ever fade or go away?
How do you all feel about taking young kids out in public, indoors without social distancing where others can now be maskless? I feel uneasy. Before, at least there was some protection with everyone wearing masks. We really didn’t go anywhere though. Now I feel like I can’t take my kid anywhere. Worse, my family thinks I’m crazy since “kids have a 99.99%” survival rate. If My kids were vaccinated I wouldn’t care, but I just feel like it’s not fair to them. maybe I am just crazy 😩
What is your best classroom management trick?
I am starting at a new company early next year and they’ve just invited me to attend their Christmas party. Is it a good idea to go? Or should I wait for a more formal introduction once I start?

Burnout alert! I have had an interesting career path, worked at some of the bigger tech companies pre-FAANG hype, and definitely started at the bottom worked my way up as it should be. As I continue down my path I feel somewhat disillusioned and frustrated by the new tech industry with over-inflated titles, high numbers low quality recruiters, insanely inflated salaries, egos, expectations, and lack of ownership, integrity, reality, and toxic leadership. I need a change!

I literally cannot work at my place of employment bc there is zero filter/discretion as to what social conversations are had. We are a small organization so no HR to report to. I’ve done my best to suppress my differences but I’m finding this to be more stressful than my workload. It’s a shame I enjoy our projects and have potential to own this co., but is this a place I really want to identify with if they are so bluntly different than how I align socially/morally? Hi everyone my name is Daniel and I’m a first time poster. I recent left Capital One to go back to Lowe’s. I didn’t want to but I had to because of medical reasons. I worked only 18 out of the last 24 months due to anxiety and depression. I went back to Lowe’s and feels rejuvenated and feel like I did when I first started Cap one in 2019. Now I need some career advice on how to transition to more of a back office environment and move away from customer service
