On salary negotiation with LTI HR, I asked 12lpa (yoe 3.8) to which she agreed. I had a counter offer of 11.5 which I have mailed her also. Upon receiving the OL (btw which I got after 2 weeks), I saw the OL was for 8lpa. I was shocked and then called her immediately. She is not responding since then and it's been 2 weeks. How so unprofessional!

Sometime I feel, orgs like Infosys Tata Consultancy Accenture and similar service based paying peanuts to employees and giving Fat paychecks to CEO's,, should be absconded by every other new joiner, So that they would stop giving 3-4 lpa and instead come in the range of 5-6lpa.
I also want to urge to all employees that its high time to go for bigger number and switch, why should only ceo, and top leadership have all the fun, each and everyone of us deserve better lifestyle

I would do it if +30% is still within the range of salary paid for comparable positions in your industry.
This. I always do my own research and come to the discussion with market value for the role specific to the area and industry. Then discuss my qualifications and why I deserve the mid range for market value or whatever I’m asking for.
I haven’t always been given what I asked for but they usually consider the data and counter offer.
