Unfortunately, Many are getting impacted by today's layoffs across the organisations and it is super hard to cope up mentally and financially. I came across few openings related to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) consultants, experience ranging 4-12 Yrs. Please reach out to Teja Chandrashekar (teja@vdigitise.com), Phone: 7672030466. Hope this can help some of you to get back onto the feet. Kindly like, comment or share for better reach. Thanks much!! #experience #share #help #consultants
Hello Everyone! Does anyone have a connection at Netflix ! I am an author/marketing associate and truly my dream job is to work on the team that creates/produces Drive to Survive. I am a huge F1 fan! However, I am willing to start where I can and work my way there! I was laid off due to Covid and just trying to get back into the field and industry I love.
Anyone else feel a little uneasy that the industry press is praising a CMO who fired the agency who resurrected KFC, ran one of the most brutal pitch processes in years and has immediately made the work much worse?

First of all, you weren't fired ☺️. Shouldn't be too bad. Good AAEs and AEs are always in demand. Just start looking up agency recruiters on linked in. I wish there was a database of them so you could just use that (hmmm another project for me?) Tighten up your resume, contact folks you know who can help, and, most importantly, don't beat yourself up about being let go. It happens. Maybe it just wasn't a fit or a client was lost-i don't know your situation. I have a hard time not looking in the rear view mirror and getting jealous and saying "why me and not that idiot who is still there," so don't be like me! 😁. Keep us posted on your progress!
Thank you. :) This is my first job so I didn’t really understand the difference between laid off and fired for cause. It seems overwhelming but I’m going to take your advice and try not to beat myself up. Don’t think it was right for me personally. I need to find closure and not let let jealousy get in the way. Do you have any tips for explaining the layoff in interviews? I’ll keep you all updated on my progress! Thank you again! :)
When you land somewhere else you'll feel better.
We all know layoffs happen, so it's really not a big deal. Unfortunately, some companies do little layoffs 3 and 4 people at a time so as to not end up in the press, so it feels more personal and looks worse to potential hiring managers. You can just say "there was a small layoff and a re-org." Try to get a couple of letters of recommendation from former, more senior colleagues if you can. And include those when applying for jobs.
Fired for cause? or let go? (You got severance)
