Can any one help me with like what type of questions can be expected in a managerial round for a data scientist role (2.4 yoe). Company : Samsung
OH.MY.GOSH. Very, very long story short, it was brought to my attention that one of my employees has a very.."active" OnlyFans account. I'm trying to find a balance between respecting what people's interests are outside of work and how that work might influence our company's image. This is an "R" rated OnlyFans. I really don't know what to do. She's such a sweetheart but if word gets out that I knew and I kept her on the team or didn't reprimand her, I could lose my job. Any suggestions?
Is there openings in TCS for testing position? I am having 1.4 yrs experience in testing position.
Any thoughts on EY's Enterprise Risk Consulting Group? I will be joining as a SC and I am curious about the baseline expectations for this role.
As designers, there's a notion that we don't get paid enough. Let's share our total compensation. How much do you get paid, and what industry do you work in? Feel free to leave any tip for others to help bump their compensation.
What was your first in-hand salary? And how far along have you come? Mine- 43k pm to 1.57L pm, 2.5YOE
How much rejection and doubt is normal in the earliest stages of a start up? I’m trying to hire some early employees and everyone keeps passing or not responding. When I do talk to folks, they aren’t interested. Could it just be that the business idea sucks? Is this normal in the early stages?
Hello Fishes, Help me choose an offer, 1. Deloitte USI (Cloud security) - 11.5 + 10% + 1.5 JB = ~14 2. Accenture (Cloud Data Services) - 12.1 + 21% + 0.5 JB = ~15 3. Capgemini (Cloud Data engineer) - 14 I have been sorting them based on 3 pointers, Job role- D=C>A Fixed CTC- C>A>D Yearly hikes- D>A>C Now after doing all these I'm confused as hell. Please pour your advice in this post. Let me know what other filters I can put here to decide between the three 🙌
I just accepted an offer at another big4 and I feel so blessed to be making $130k in LOCL as a 23 year old with less than 1.25 YOE. And I find it funny that I'm gonna be "senior" consultant/associate at my age and YOE. I don't know jack shit, and will completely understand if my clients/senior peers don't give me any respect at all. Thank you covid and the great resignation for this wonderous and hilarious opportunity.
Can I have offer letter from PWC india and PWS sdc also? Role would be same... Is that fine to do? Please help me with suggestions..
What are good exit opptys in Boston for 4yrs consulting experience, 6yrs post-MBA. Tech, biotech, GE? Where are consultants landing?
I am proposing to leadership that our open requisitions have fully vaccinated requirements for all roles, so that we are hiring vaccinated people into the firm. Is this fair or would it affect talent acquisition negatively?
Got an offer from Google this week for L4 non-tech role, 5 YOE. Can you help evaluate this? - Base: 120 - Bonus: 15% - RSU: 120K/~4 yrs (was originally 90K but pushed back hard) - Sign on: 10K - Location: Austin, TX This number is already negotiated once. I asked again for 150K RSU but not sure if I’ll get it, will see next week…is this lowball offer? For Googlers - once you join Google, how’s the salary progression over time? Are annual salary increase and stock refresher meaningful enuf?
Anyone hiring for entry-level roles in the DC area? A former coworker of mine just finished her MPH and looking to get into consulting. She has 2 years of experience before Masters.
What does everyone think of marketing and business development at their firm? Thinking of making the jump from marketing consulting to a BD and marketing position at a big law firm. A friend who worked in law told me not to do it because the pay is so so and work life balance isn’t great (not on any level compared to the lawyers though. Like not even close). He also said some of the lawyers aren’t super nice to marketing and BD and they get blamed for a lot. Thoughts?
I am leaving my job because I have been promised a raise 5 different times within the last 8 months without follow through. I have taken on many tasks within the last year following my former supervisor’s resignation. My boss is not aware that I am leaving for this reason as I want to leave without conflict. My boss asked me to work for him a few hours a month to maintain that relationship. Now he is wanting to decrease my pay as I will be working in a marketing position. What do I do?
I successfully applied for an internal role in December and transferred with immediate effect. My company has ‘job levels’ each with their own pay grade. The new job is a level above my previous job, however, I was not given a pay rise. At the time I was told this would be up for review in April, as this is reviewed annually anyway. My question is, do I wait until April to see if any increase is aligned with the new job level, or should I bring it up again prior to the review? WWYD?

Is it bad that I’m more excited about the pretzel dog I plan to have in the airport than actually getting home? What's your gross airport food fetish?

Upvote if you think airlines should award miles for delay time, in ADDITION to miles flown!
