I was vomiting 15/20 times a day, only diclegis helped. Check with your ob.
No EY, I am 27 weeks pregnant now. All ok as of now. The medicine helped, one tablet a day and no vomiting.
Try drinking some non dairy milk or chocolate milk when it’s hard to get food down initially.
Chew on a little bit of raw ginger when actively nauseous.
Can also get something called boiron nux vomica - little natural tablets to put under your tongue. But ideal to not have food or drink ten min before or after for full effect
Oh and how could I forget pickles! I’ve been craving things with vinegar and it’s way more tolerable. Like salads etc. hang in there OP
Half a unisom before bed.
It’s the active ingredient in magic pill diceglis:)
Diclegis prescription from your Doctor is the magic pill , ask for it and don’t suffer
Very true on insurance
I got an electric sea sick bracelet and that helped a bit. Found that I also like the icebreaker mints where I take 3 at a time when I feel like the morning sickness is kicking in. Another thing I did was completely changing my diet. During the morning sickness heavy 1st trimester, all I could eat without feeling miserable 5 mins after are salads and fruits (blueberries, watermelons, oranges, manages, bananas, etc.).
SC1 - I used the exact same methods! Electric bracelet, went through 10+ packs of icebreakers during first trimester, only salad+fruits+yogurt, I couldn’t eat meat without throwing up but was able to stomach some beef jerky
Squeeze lemon juice in water. Lemon helped stabilize my stomach. Also if you haven’t thrown up, it helped me to try to puke in the morning to get the bile out that was upsetting my stomach. I got very nauseous brushing my teeth so it usually worked like a charm. I also started the day munching on a few handfuls of dry cereal such as Cheerios before getting out of bed. Additionally, I purchased a Relief band but didn’t find it helped me too much. I heard a lot of people find these helpful
I totally understand your intent and am sorry your situation was so severe. But as you said, not everyone is the same so it can do more damage when something this extreme is thrown so casually. Appreciate you elaborating for OP’s awareness in the event she can relate.
Unisom and I would recommend Ritual vitamins. I am 25 weeks and have been taking Ritual from the beginning. They are a little pricey but good to have then delivered every month on time and you can cancel anytime.
I just started these after trying so many different prenatal vitamin brands, including prescription prenatals. These do not make me sick like the other ones, highly recommend as well
Try antacid. I was throwing up constantly past few weeks and lost 8 pounds in 2 weeks. Doc advised b6 but that wasn’t very helpful. After I threw up a few times, I had the chewable antacid and then had some soup/rice. It stayed down
It wasn’t always working but worked a few times that I wasn’t losing all my energy or needed to be hospitalized. I’m 11 weeks now and slightly getting better.
Also try to eat the moment you get up be it a cracker or a piece of apple.
