Unless you're on the product side, Facebook generally plays it pretty strict with salary. You should still try but it's doubtful they'll budge in any appreciable way.
Are there other benefits at your current employer that you could potentially lose out on at Facebook? You could possibly leverage things like that.
Otherwise, are there any other applications to other employers you have in motion to bring a competing offer?
I recently got a title change at my current employer and possibly a compensation increase, so I was thinking of using that as a counter. Current stock plan at my company is technically better I think, but I work at a private company, so they may not take that seriously. Other than that, I do think they lowballed me because looking at salary ranges for the position on Glassdoor the average is much higher than what they proposed. Thanks the advice!
