Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox. I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). Anyone from Dropbox who can put me in touch with HR or suggest what I should do next?

Sitting back thinking how ironic it is that I’m literally deep into the interview process with another agency to get away from an account director who makes my life hell. I have to give up working at an awesome agency but I don’t see a way of getting away from them because they wouldn’t switch me to another account. Oh well maybe I’ll boomerang.

Was sent skill tests, and completed them (It was my understanding that skill tests where last step in process); and now HR Director from HQ wants an interview. Is this a good sign? When is it time to give up on a job offer coming in and move on? Internal recruiter has been in constant contact with me and extremely positive, but the final decision seems to keep getting pushed off because they can’t get all the decision makers together to decide - 3 weeks now. Has anyone ever had to do the second step of an interview over slack? It was a legitimate company not a scam. The person I would be working with said the second interview after an assignment was over slack. They asked me in the first interview about my writing skills. They said since it's a remote company most people I'd never speak with directly and everything would be asynchronous through slack. Is this typical?

What is the best way to answer the question "how would you approach this job"?

I’m interviewing for a an EA role to CEO, who is also interviewing for a chief of staff. CEO has alluded to me being a great CoS based on recent exp, and longer term COO and has asked if I’m going to find the EA role limiting. Do I address my interest in the CoS role, plus gaps in my experience or do I focus on the EA role and finding opps to add value outside of EA responsibilities without stepping on the CoS toes? I really want to work for this CEO & don’t want to talk myself out of the EA job

Some advice from a regular remote interviewer - If you feel you can justify/maximise your value to a company above the current salary band, apply for the role, impress the heck out of the panel and push for that higher salary. You'll be surprised how open this conversation can be.

Company's have budgets in place for recruitment. Therefore, adjustments can be made to other open/upcoming roles marginally to facilitate recruiting your higher salary request.
