Some people come to FDD from non audit backgrounds and from what I have seen they tend to be the ones to be more marketable for IB roles for whatever reason whether it be more well rounded skills or unique experience that they were able to parlay into other roles. There’s always going to be anecdotal evidence.

Its actually not that hard, just apply and read up on technicals. People make it sound like it’s impossible. Just put some effort in or network. So many people in FDD have left for IB.

How often do you switch bank accounts? I’m currently with Ally for my checking and savings account but thinking about making a switch, at least my savings account probably. I’m seeing other accounts that offer better APY but I’ve been with Ally so long idk if it’s worth the switch to change my payroll and autopay info. I see Sofi offers a 1.25% rate on checking and savings and E*TRADE offers 1.4% on savings but they also have a checking account.

Hi All, Just finished the process with Alix tech & Digital practice (VP) and A&M PEPI (SA) and got an offer from Alix and waiting for the salary details from A&M. I wanted to know your thoughts regarding the salary expectations for A&M (Their HR didn’t flinch when I asked a salary +15K more than Alix in base)? Do you think they can offer that in PEPI ?
