My Obgyn is offering weekly classes that range from “childbirth” to “infant cpr” and mom/dad “meet and greets”. Outside of the cpr one which seems important, did anyone attend classes and find them useful? Or did not attend classes and wish they had? The recommended curriculum is about 20-30 hours in total over 2-3 months which is a time commitment. Thank you!

We have signed a night nanny. Maybe it’s my hormones, but I start to worry that the nanny may get sick during her daily activities and pass it to the newborn. I had *just* gotten back into running (2 weeks) when I found out I’m pregnant! Great news, but would you keep running? Doctor says it’s up to me.

Anyone feel avoidant about certain foods? About 6 weeks or so, no nausea or sickness but certain smells I can’t stand (i.e. eggs, steak). I’ve found myself nervous to cook the salmon we just bought because I don’t want to hate the smell and end up wasting it 😭
