How much CTC can be expected or negotiated for the new role, if selected?

Not really about interviewing but I’m curious if anyone has any advice on how to beat the AI software that looks through resumes. They have openings for alternative investment analyst and I wasn’t sure if that is a recommended area to start in or would that not allow for growth? I just don’t want to get stuck in a specialty and not be able to move up because of it. Any advice?
