I have over 12 years in B2B sales/sales management experience along with a graduate degree. I am wanting to shift gears and I am at a point where I can invest time in myself to learn through practical experience. The new industry I am wanting to pursue is real estate investment. I have read all the books but want some hands on experience on the property management side. How could I best leverage my skills for a role in this, and what should my expectations be for negotiation in compensation?

Would you guys recommend the intelligent investor or any other books for learning good fundamentals about basic investing? Not trying to YOLO anything just grab better returns than my bank account with some boring index funds and a few stock picks

Does anyone have any advice on how to transition away from an agency? We are extremely understaffed and failing to meet deadlines. It’s exhausting and stressful, and the pay is next to nothing. Ok. You’re leading a giant meeting on your own. You’re managing a bunch of guys and reviewing their work. Other agency people see these meetings and assume that you are CO leading with these people--

Not work related but I didn't know where else to post. I just broke up with my boyfriend of 4 years. He was my first real boyfriend. I dated other guys but nothing that lasted this long. I love him but I don't think I'm in love with him. He's my best friend and can't imagine life without him but I also can't imagine getting married to him. I miss him terribly and regret breaking up but at the same time I'm scared to give him the commitment he wants and deserves. What is wrong with me?!!

I’m on a new account that has male clients and the other agency leaders are male. I have stayed masked internally at meetings but I was caught off guard by how the client dynamic influenced me to take mine off when I preferred to keep on. I looked up the stats and men are less likely to wear masks and more likely to find them off putting. Anybody else running into this?
