Microsoft why are you damn obsessed with making so much of your software “start on startup” by default?
It’s so annoying and Microsoft teams is the LeAST efficient chatting app out there so it’s awful on resources. Slack is SO much faster and doesn’t start on startup (I don’t think ?)…
you’re really quite something to blatantly copy the competition, make your product more sluggish, and then add in your nasty ass dark patterns. Microsoft teams = bloatware 90% of the time. Stop prioritizing it

I'm looking to find a job like the Forward Deployed Engineer role Palantir Technologies in the UK.
I have become hooked on finding a job that involves solving the kinds of problems they presented during their interviews. Although I got to the final round my performance anxiety got the better of me (I think I wanted the job a bit too much...). I will reapply after working in a similar company.
Is it "deep tech" / "data science" or "smart enterprise" that they're doing? Any advice welcome.
Well that’s a helpful email, thanks HR 🤦🏼♀️😂

Where does everyone look for jobs
My favorite saying about presentations: A good presentation is like a good skirt. Long enough to cover the topic, short enough to keep it interesting.
Having said that, it’s very topic independent. If you are a terrible presenter, it’s probably better to have more data in the slides if it’s an important topic and there are a lot of critical takeaways. If you’re an engaging speaker, then I’d only have ~5 bullets to slide, that are really bullets and not paragraphs so that people are listening to you and not reading ahead and missing salient points.
3-5 tops would be my input but I’m a less is more kind of person. I use slides for participants to follow along with if they are multitasking, but I generally don’t need a single one to pitch. I’ve seen too many people crater when a projector or computer goes down and they can’t use their slides as a crutch.

Three minutes per slide = 5 slides.
