Hi Amazonians,
I am looking for guidance.
I am going to start interview process with Amazon next week. Probably all rounds will be done in 1-2 day time frame.
How/what should I prepare for interview?
Am clueless on what kind of ds & algo questions, system design questions are asked in Amazon interviews.
My techstack: javascript developer- react+Angular.
1. Pls guide me on what/how to prepare?
2. Also, will the interview be solely on da & algo and javascript; or on Js frameworks?

Lots of folks at Google with dreads so no need to do anything with hair. I would recommend a bun or braiding them back into a single braid.
This whole thing of making black hair ‘professional ‘ is whack. I am who am I am and my talent speaks for itself. I have been in interviews with my fro and dreads. If they want it ‘neater’ ‘#whiter’ , I don’t want to be a part of it. I spend too much time tryna fit it without having to ‘treat’ myself to fit in
Most of the MBB and FAANG have not cared what I do with my hair (a part from not looking like I don’t love myself). Other than that, no one has cared whether I have my fro out, my dreads in or however I feel comfortable. We need to examine what ‘neat/professional ‘ is and if that is only applied to certain groups
Hmmmm. I would try braiding it into a man bun. Man buns are common at mbbs. Especially other regions outside of NAMR. But high tops, not so much on the Caucasian front but are still common. A combination of both seems to be rare, it could be risky at C level but I’m a firm believer that presence is what matters so it’ll add to your personality.
I would be looking into roles at mbb (healthcare/tech), Google health, and PE. My dreads are about 8" long, so not enough for me to tieback.
Yea, I'm not too worried about it for FANG interviews more for mbb and PE. I'll see if I can do a braid. Are you referring more to a fishbone braid? Unfortunately they're too short to put in a bun, longest in front is a few inches on the ring finger (8") and the back is the length of my index (5.5").
You can get extensions to make them long enough if you’re really worried.
I think a bun maybe hard to do but I'll check out a stylist in Oakland to see what can be done.
Thanks everyone!
For PE and MBB I would try cutting them into a proper taper or fade until you reach a level ( ie MD or Principal) where you call the shots...if I were you I would survey the landscape and see how many brothers there are with none conservative appearances.. use the stats to the advantage,
