Projects here have a deadline of 1 or 2 days while the same project in the US I had 2 weeks.

I just lateraled as a first year associate in a specialized finance practice with one main partner and a handful of mid levels. The practice group is actively hiring laterals. But as the only junior associate so far, I don’t have very many people to ask for help, and I have a lot of questions about how to do my work, whether it’s okay to respond to an email in a certain way, etc. The partner is disorganized and requires a lot of follow up before he reviews or answers me. Can I get feedback on QA, do other product teams run their test scripts (non automated test scripts) past the business every single time they develop something?
