The Google certification is not really legit. It's more like a prep course. Since you're actually doing PM work, don't think you'll learn anything new. The gold standard is the PMP certification by PMI. that's what most companies look for unless you've already got a few years experience. YouTube has lots of comparison videos.
What the attorney said plus think about what type of tech you want to go into. Is it Cloud, is it infrastructural tech, is it medtech, fintech, tech for the government (low key given your np a cover letter talking about how much you love providing goods and services to citizens might be a winning combo) , cyber security, mobile applications, tech consulting, hardware, video games, and get exposure to it from an industry perspective.
It means you are not only an PM but a member of the technical team or have the ability to be apart of the technical team you are PMing.
I think you should focus on a good cover letter and resume. I’m looking to move from teaching to tech and am doing some upskilling on LinkedIn learning. You already have the skill set it sounds, you’re just changing companies.
