Start with indices (SPY, QQQ, etc) as they are generally lowest risk in the market and have in theory broad exposure.
However, the market could be in for a rough few years, so be prepared to see drawdowns in your account. As an investor, you should plan to dollar cost average with a set amount of $$ on a set schedule. That way, if your investments drop in value, you can buy them at cheaper levels.

If you are starting out investing, certainly now wouldnt be a bad time to start. I certainly wouldnt say drop 100k in the market right now, but if you only have 5k or 15k to invest it should be fine, considering your investment amount will get larger as you progress in your career and can deposit more.
The markets could drop another 50% over the next year or two, so its better to invest small portions in a bear market and increase the investment amount the further it continues to go down. It's a tricky game but also can be fun at times
Open an account with something like Fidelity and fund it with your $6k Roth cap. You can do index funds or your can choose stocks that you think will be more valuable in the future. Electric cars, flying cars, space exploration, DNA sequencing for longer life sounds like the future to me.
go with mutual fund and passive index fund

No right or wrong. Depends on if you have low or high tolerance, you're day to day personalality, and whether you're going with regular acct or IRA. Tbh. Start with maxing out your Roth IRA. That's going to your retirement money tax free when you take it out and there's a limit of 6k you can put in each year. You can also buy and sell stocks with Roth IRA free of charge so don't think just bc you bought it in a Roth IRA your stuck with it till retirement

I would say avoid Robinhood.
TDA, Fidelity, JPMorgan, all good brokerages.
Take all and dump it in s&p500 and VGT the soonest you can!
