Should executives be able to travel business class as a rule? Our company is making all travel economy-only moving forward, unless it's international. Just backed out of a signed offer and I feel like shit. The new company was very delayed in issuing an offer letter (3 weeks from verbal) and approaching a month from background check. I missed kick off events and offered to visit happy hours, but they denied that request until after the start date (which had to be pushed back).

🤦‍♀️My stepdaughter fried her gaming pc. We were moving and it sat in the cold and damp in the car for 4 days. We told her to let it warm up and dry out before plugging it in but she didn't wait. The ups was screaming as soon as she plugged it in, the she proceeded to turn it on. We know the power supply is gone, but what are the chances the graphics card is fried? We were able to get a replacement for the rest, but the graphics cards are hard to get according to the store.

How's the PM life at Amazon? I've read that it's a master class in ownership, which sounds like an appealing trial by fire to take on.

Prep-wise, I have the analytics on lockdown and some project coordination experience, and have read a lot of the PM canon including Marty Cagan and Lewis Lin to get me up to speed on design questions. Am I missing anything before applying except memorizing LP's? And do referrals make a difference?
