Hello Fishes, I am new here and would like your inputs on the Grade, Designation & Basic salary in TCS. 1. Is the Grade - 'C3B' & Designation - 'ASC - Associate Consultant' correct for 11 years and 6 months of experience ? 2. And is the Basic salary offered in TCS very less than the Market standard? Thanks in Advance 🙏🏼

I got out of there after 3 1/2 years. It’s not a bad firm. But it is not as good as advertised. It is extremely unorganized in the back office and they charge you for everything. It is by far the most expensive way one could be independent. And even then you’re only quasi independent because you’re under a franchise model. However they’re really good with financial planning, I believe Ameriprise was ahead of the curve in understanding that people need to pay for advice and I learned a lot while I was there. However, if culture matters to you, if not being nickeled and dime for everything matters to you, keeping more of your earnings matters to you and being able to brand your company and not just the company brand matters to you, there are much better choices in the independent space.
What was the annual outlay for expenses they charged you for
Would agree with post 100%. What’s most important to you. Ameriprise I’d really good at helping you grow, market and do financial planning. However you will pay for this (out of your payout). If you take advantage of the programs/ support it’s an investment in yourself. If you don’t need that help you are better at another independent firm, where you can invest the payout difference as you see fit.
It’s definitely not the cheapest place to do business in the industry.
They have good training on: social media, referrals, networking, COIs, etc.
If your willing to take up 1 or 2, you should easily find clients. I have friends who also work in the bank channel and although you may get leads, they are usually clients with low assets. Would you rather have quantity or quality over time? Most people with over $500k don’t work with an advisor from a bank channel, the model isn’t there to provide good service overtime.
