Any analysts been in consulting for a year but utilized less than 50%? Do you look for another role or just try to wait it out?

I found someone on LinkedIn who went to school with my manager, and she's working at a company in the department that I'm applying for. Would it be a reach for me to message her and ask her about her role/how she made the jump from PwC to that company? I'm not sure what the etiquette is here since I don't directly know her and don't want my manager to know I'm looking to leave.

Fellow HR professionals: anyone ever been in a position where new leadership (VP of HR) came in to an otherwise seasoned team and is clearly not VP material, unprofessional, can’t be trusted, and two of the team members have already left within a yearish of her coming in because they can’t abide by the decisions she makes and how she operates? Hi everyone, I’m leaving my job after only 6//7 months in investor relations. I love the space but the lack of training (small team), lack of progression past essentially admin work and not being a cultural fit makes it impossible for me to see a future here.

Hello! Any tips on entering mid law or in-house in Cincinnati graduation. Currently, a 3L at a New York school (not top ranked), 3.17 GPA. I do have good work experience working as a state judicial law intern, member of a hybrid SA program between my school and a big-law firm, and currently as an intern working on Smart Contracts and a legal advisor to the company’s CLM team. I need some advice, I left Infosys on 27th Jan, I had an offer from Accenture to join them on 28th Jan. However just on my last working day itself, I got an offer from wabtec, it's not a service based org, so I thought I should give it a go. However their DOJ is on 14th feb. They have to complete BGV.
Now the only other offer I have is from TCS to join them on 2nd Feb, I'm a bit scared as to is it a good idea to say no to tcs and stay unemployed in pursuit of working with wabtec?

Looking for advice on Roth IRA:

Just realized that I have $15k in a Roth IRA that I’d forgotten about. Unfortunately, I’m now over the income limit for contribution. I’d prefer to keep this account as I like the flexibility I have and realized that this has made more gains than my 401k (%-wise).

What would you do in this situation? Keep the account and just keep investing with what’s there? Roll over to a traditional IRA? Use the back door Roth strategy knowing that may become illegal soon?

Scenario: You wrote a report with all the analysis and addressed your manager's comments. But your M brings in an undergrad intern to comment / edit your report, and the intern proceeds to essentially rewrite the thing, causing it to miss some key requirements.

I'm reading the situation as the M wanting to include the intern regardless of his/her contributions/qualifications. But this isn't making the report better or addressing the M's needs for the report. It's just creating more work...
