This job will be based out of San Francisco. I currently make $30/hour for the same role in Chicago, after OT it’s about $60,000. Do you think it would be wise to accept the offer? I am looking for some career advice. I was an intern this time last year and I started full time at the end of 2020. I want to make sure I am in a position where I can move up. I have Sec+ and I want to get more certifications too. Anyone have any advice for me?

I’m in pretty good shape but I haven’t been able to fence for two years because of work. Pretty specific muscles needed. I fenced hard tonight, mostly against teenagers. No, I am not in good shape, especially aerobically. Time for rowing machine and jump rope on the days I’m not fencing (2-3 per week). It will take a couple of months. I’m going to hurt tomorrow. Ugh.

I feel like my mind is my worst enemy. I have had a successful career with my current company. I started as a brand new Engineer and now I’m head of a 40+ people department.
