Hello fishes. I got an offer letter from Accenture with 21.5 LPA as fixed component. They have not provided me with a breakup yet. I will be thankful if you guys could answer those:
1. Is the fixed component 100% payout?
2. What will be my expected take home considering I am unaware of the breakup?

I’ve been at my company for 6 months. I’m supposed to be a Junior Cloud Developer. They’ve had 5 “training” meetings with me (all things I already knew) and I got access to most things. I’ve read all there documentation.

I’m contemplating getting tested for ADHD because I’ve noticed some signs over the last few years that may be indicative of a diagnosis. I’m only seriously contemplating this because of a potential new job in the future that is much more intense and detail oriented than the work I currently do. Don’t want to call out of work but can’t fathom working today 💔. Lucky I’m finally in house. Left partner of 2Y yesterday. Always had jealousy issues (her thinking I chose friends over her, her isolating me from friends to have me all to herself) and I finally said enough is enough. Final straw was her throwing a glass of water in my face when fighting. She keeps begging me to come home and says she’ll change. Hard not to go back. Never thought I’d be 32, heartbroken, and on sisters spare room.

The women on my team have all worked 7 days a week since early March; the men are all MIA on weekends. We‘re so busy that without us working weekends, there’s no way we’d keep up with our workload.

So construction company execs aren't necessarily working from home. I've done some webinars and some zoom meetings. But the response has been mostly from current clients. At last firm I was making around 140k (underpaid for market), offer letter is 85k and potential bump to 100kish after a certaib period. I think I need anxiety meds or prescrip sleeping pills. On a huge project in addition to normal billable expectations, and the stress is really getting to me. I’m not able to fall asleep, or have super low quality sleep. Do I make an appointment with a GP or a psychiatrist? I’m even having anxiety about asking for anxiety meds bc I’m worried I will seem like I’m just looking for drugs & don’t really need them. I need help navigating this.

I have a junior associate working with me on a case. I try hard to be cognizant of giving plenty of time, being available for questions, and explaining the assignments thoroughly at the outset. This associate doesn’t do the work they are assigned, but is always trying to do things no one asked them to do that don’t actually help. I’m all for empowering junior associates but it’s getting frustrating. Any advice? I don’t want to throw the associate under the bus.
