I have an opportunity for CSM role with a healthcare tech company in the Mountain View and they offering 90k with 20k variable. When I chat with the team they say that the metrics behind the variable change almost every quarter. This would be a step back in terms of salary, but they are offering equity and growing 150% YoY. The 110 all in seems like a low ball?!? Any good questions I could ask to better asses comp here?

What firm has the best benefits? I know most firms don't match 401ks, but do any allow mega backdoor Roths? Heavily subsidize healthcare (either paying all or most premiums or large HSA subsidies) or gym memberships (I'm talking like 80% equinox memberships)? Do any firms have official sabbatical policies for associates? Long vacations? Actual 1800-2100 hour expectations (corporate) rather than being told you're below average at 2250?

24 yr old, 110k TC, maxing out Roth IRA and Roth 401k, no debt or large expenses. Also have ~35k sitting in a bank account. What should I do with that money?? Am I better just sitting on it for a while then watching it shrivel up in my brokerage account?

I proposed to my long-term partner last year on a weekend away, but it was kind of an impulsive decision on the weekend. In the moment it was great and she said yes. However, looking back I have huge regrets about how I went about it.

I ended up feeling uneasy with my decision and we had therapy to work through my doubts soon after. We are now we're in such a better place now and planning our wedding/future together.
