Totally depends on company size and potentially location, I'd say. A role like this was recently posted at my company and I'd estimate from the job grade on the posting that the base is something like $150k with an annual bonus of around $20k

I’m a clinical manager at a small practice( one provider) in which we are extremely understaffed. I am currently juggling multiple roles of front desk and surgery scheduling duties plus managerial duties. My pay is 22/hr. Just wanted to ask if that is a fair pay, because lately I’ve been feeling burnt out and underpaid for the amount of work i put in.

Recently received 80k offer for Amex Gold and 150k offer for Platinum. Currently use CSR for travel and dining, which we will downgrade later this year as wife got CSP for 100k bonus (which we might upgrade to CSR to keep 1.5x redemption). Considering Gold for groceries (family of 4) and potentially for dining over CSP/CSR. With groceries, 4x return will just offset AF. Have no exp with MP. Worth getting gold? Can I later (next month) also get Platinum for bonus for when travel starts again?

Hi All, I recently interviewed at Amazon and Google for software engineer and passed both interviews. I have an offer on the table from Amazon but with Google I am officially in team matching and my recruiter tells me that the queue is pretty backed up now and it can take a long time. My question is should I take the Amazon offer now or decline Amazon and hold out for Google? I have heard that Google has better wlb/benefits. But I'm scared to decline Amazon without a guaranteed job offer.

When and how much of a raise should I ask for? Ive been working as a Software Engineer and Data Scientist for 7 months and I am making $70/hr. I got hired to work with python and I work with python, as well as C++, SQL, and NPSS. I have surpassed my boss's expectations time and time again and he constantly refers to me as the only source of good news in the engineering team. He just requested that my contract be extended until April 2024 and I would like for my value to increase.

I'm an L7 Product Manager at Google and am feeling quite burnt out. I'd like to get a new job outside of Google, and ideally one that will give me similar comp / scope as my current role. Part of me wants to quit to take some time off before searching for a new gig, but I'm nervous that I'll lose negotiating power if I don't have a current job. Would appreciate folks' thoughts (especially senior PM who recently went through a job search)!

I interviewed for a Sr. HRBP/Generalist role and based on my experience (11 years, 2 as a manager, education (Masters in HRM) asked for 120K - 130k range. They decided to move forward with the interview process and then made me an offer for 110k with $9,500 bonus and said will review comp again in October. This is much lower than I expected for the base. Any good negotiators with good tips to use to counter offer? One mistake I made is to let them know that my current job ends Feb 28th. Thank

Not necessarily “wellness & beauty” but in need of recommendations. I always clean my apartment, but I can’t keep my kitchen/living room from smelling like trash. I am convinced that it is my kitchen trash disposal and I’ve tried so many things to make it smell good (garbage disposal deodorizer, vinegar mixture, etc.). Any recommendations on how to keep my place smelling fresh? I am tired of using bath & body works products and candles.

Additional Posts in Salary & Compensation

Is there a recommended path here? Long one, finished in the comments.

So I make around 35% below market for my titled role. My employer used “startup” as the reason when I was hired, but they’ve finally stopped using that excuse. I was fine with it, because I was promised a promotion within 12 months due to scope change. I’ve now been promoted twice, but in responsibility only. My boss said it’ll be another 18-24 months until my director promo is approved and goes into effect. More in comments

What would be fair earnings for a Sr. Digital Marketing & Strategy Analyst? (Background for context: an undergraduate degree in visual communications and graphic design, as well as masters in Information Technology with about a decade of working experience)

I received an offer Friday for a new role that my mentor referred me to & she’s the director of the team. Its more in line with my career trajectory, fully remote, and the culture seems great. They offered 80k and told me the range is 70-80k and they were excited to offer the top of the budget. It’s a little amount but I was hoping for a min of 80, but really like 82k thinking about the role. Do I bother asking since they gave the disclaimer top of budget or ask bc there’s prob room?

I need some insight on my salary. I've been working at a large insurance brokerage for 14 years now and am a Senior Account Manager. I've recently found out from someone who left the company, who was in an entry level account management position, was making only $20k less than myself. Am I being fairly compensated?

I am currently doing a masters degree at Concordia so I believe 25$/hr would be more appropriate. Am I aiming too high?
