Anyone have any advice on trying to exit away from risk advisory? Specifically internal audit and sox. I’ve tried applying to Deloitte but they seem to only be interested for internal audit and sox work. I have 3 years of experience for reference and feel very stuck.
Dear recruiters - put your comp range in the email if you want a response. The Salesforce market is just so competitive that I’m sure just like all of you, I get dozens of inquiries a week. It just feels like a waste of everyone’s time if I don’t know what it is. Now that I’m actively looking it’s just hard to see where to start!
Does anyone have experience transitioning from a BigLaw litigation practice to a Government Affairs role. I’d love to hear about experiences. Are you happy with the move? Would you do it again?

Can anyone provide insight to working at Holland and Hart? Also, when do parental leave benefits kick in? Is there a waiting period? Do they negotiate lateral bonuses for losing out on present firm end of year bonus? TIA.
I’d like to leave my current company soon (complicated). I interviewed with several companies but no offers materialized (someone had more relevant experience or better fit than I). now running out of roles to apply to. There are a few companies I would have not even considered applying to initially (no industry knowledge, too far to commute, not financially stable) but now feel like I can’t be too picky. Should I just apply to every relevant role I see although I don’t think I’ll be happy there
Two weeks since my phone screen & one week since my follow up email. Application does still say in review, but was advised I’d hear back before the end of the week after my initial screening. Any insight on what may be going on at PwC? For an Associate role in Provider Ops
I’m a 2017 associate in NYC biglaw. I logged approx. 2300 billable hours in 2019. Is that light, normal or heavy in the biglaw market for RE associates at my level? Thanks in advance for thoughts.

There are a couple of companies I really want to get into. Would it be weird to apply to those when I started at new job a month ago? If they give me interview they would notice i have only been at new place a month right? Or i should wait at least half year.
