Any book recommendations for “disciplining” / mitigating 2 yr old tantrums or any books for having a second child?

I liked "How to talk so little kids will listen" by Faber and King. It's really helped me with my 2 year old.

We have this one but felt like it is aimed at older kids. Maybe he is just not there verbally yet.

Following!

Just read about 1-2-3 Magic as a somewhat statistically proven intervention (recommended in Emily Oster’s book “cribsheet”). Ordered it yesterday off amazon for my two year old (with another on the way)

Do these books for older kids (3/4 yrs)

Positive Discipline: the first 3 years has great age appropriate tools (eh phrases to use, how to handle common tantrums, etc)

Alan Kazdin is great

Dad's a little guidance please. We bought a Chicco car seat with base and a stroller that accepts the car seat. . I've been reading that other brands (e.g Britax, MaxiC) do not have a base and remain in the car. So how to Britax car seat parents move/carry their infants around? Remove from the car seat and hand carry or prop into stroller?
Currently, I put the baby into the car seat and he stays in it and is carried around in it. Trying to understand the process if I were to buy a Britax.

Seeking advice: anyone have experience dealing with a meddling sister-in-law (brother’s wife)? She’s constantly overstepping the bounds of what I think is appropriate (I.e., bossing around my elderly mother, getting rid of things without asking my mothers permission, changing my mothers decor). It just doesn’t feel right for her to do these things to my mother/interject in family affairs like this. Understandably brother doesn’t want to get in the middle of it. How to handle this?

My boyfriend and I hadn’t had sex for 2.5 months (with other long breaks before that). I broke and brought up the issue and he eventually explained that he’s not been attracted to me. I’m 105 lbs and ride my bike to get around the city (or at least do a leisure ride on the weekends if I had no errands to run that week), but he still thinks I’m too sedentary and spend too much time curled up on my phone. But the problem is…cont

So my bf of 3 months put on some weight. He wasn’t the fittest before, but he’s put on some weight due to stress from work and holidays. It’s starting to bother me. How do I tell him he should loose some? I’ve hinted on work out classes together, training for a run together and told him I’ll be dropping 5 pounds in the next 3 weeks to get ready for a beach holiday end of year, but he’s like “cool. Go for it! I’ll take it slow”
Any ideas that doesn’t hurt his feelings ?

For those of us who fall in to the overweight, obese, or morbidly obese categories (71.6% of us) or for anyone with a “pre-existing” condition impacting Covid outcomes - how are you managing anxiety surrounding Covid and the risk factor of being obese? In particular, I’ve seen a few posts addressing obesity and coronavirus on here that - on top of all the news articles in the last few months - have led to crippling anxiety. Additionally, what lifestyle changes have you made, if any?

Impact of big 4 consulting in an data engineering career.

I recently started at one of the big 4 as a DE. So far I have seen some pretty poor coding practice, lack of version control and taking short cut everywhere. Every one also highly prefer no code ETL tool. I am a little worried that this environment is bad for a DE career.

Just wondering if this is just my project or is or project like that? I am considering switching after a few more months.
