I still work for Cerner. I don't discourage working here (at least yet), though I recommend you wait it out for a bit. With the restructuring last year and its ripple effects still being felt, the working environment and morale seem to be at an all-time low.

Agree with the overall consensus here... worked with Cerner in the past and let’s just say that it was not abnormal to have 6:30am meetings or be held responsible for responding to emails while on PTO/sick time.

Well, our district found a COVID loophole and are exploiting it. They get to determine whether or not we are considered a “close contact” or not with a positive student. And because they told us to “never be within 6’ of a student for 15 minutes or longer” (in a tiny classroom with 28 JH students), they’re justifying that if we test positive “despite their efforts”, it’s on us, not the district, so they won’t cover any medical costs or give us the Covid days off. Talk about feeling expendable.
