I see everyone screaming “buy the dip”. If you are going to I advise the strategy I learned when I started out 10/20/30, 1/2/3. Invest 1/3 of your cash on the sidelines when the stock falls 10%, another third at 20% and the rest at 30%. Definitely helped in March. This assumes you did your OWN research and analysis on the stocks you purchased. Junk is junk no matter what price you bought it.

How bad is it to contact a recruiter directly without a referral? Has anyone done this before and had success? I figure the referral only gets my resume past the computer resume screen so that I can be reviewed by a human recruiter anyways, so I could skip the middleman (at the risk of the recruiter ignoring me). Also don’t know anyone well at the firms that I’m applying to so any referral that I could get would be weak.
