I see everyone hustling to go into PM at a FAANG. Is it that or nothing or are ppl also interested in non fang PM roles? Is it worth it to leave B4 for non-fang prod mgr role?

Currently making $95K at a company as a senior project director in, it took me a very long time to get to the current salary and position. Annual raises are only 3-5%, with no raises. I do love my job though but definitely feel underpaid for what I do and the hours I put in.

I have a job offer in a similar industry but also quite different for $120K with spot bonuses based on productivity. Should I take it? I know the grass isn’t always greener and it shouldn’t be all about money, right?

I’m interviewing for a nonprofit controller position in the final round, about $70 million in inflows. Coming from the Big 4, what additional questions should I ask? They do have a CFO, and most revenue comes from a government contract and a smaller amount from grants and donations. This is my first venture into the nonprofit sphere, and I want to make sure I’m covering all of my bases.
