I may have a lead on someone you can talk to
I went to Cornell for undergrad and masters (not MBA but took a few classes in the Johnson school and attended a lot of their events) I think it’s a great program and the people there are down to earth but if I’m getting my MBA I’d want to do that in a city so that it’s easier to network. Ithaca is pretty isolated in the mountains.
Are you planning full time or part time MBA?
Yeah I agree ^ Cornell isn’t the best for MBA but if Cornell and Georgetown are your best options I’d personally choose Cornell. But I’m also very biased haha
Post a burner, happy to chat.
McKinsey, did it feel particularly elite? I am debating between Georgetown and Cornell MBA. The main factor drawing me to Cornell is the ivy factor. I think Georgetown may be more career oriented. Both great options but it’s a tough decision.
Full time
I'm not sure I'd consider Cornell elite for full time, although it is top tier. If you're aiming at Cornell full time, it's worth your while to aim a bit higher and go for a top 10. Why did you settle on these 2?
