Hi All. Hope everyone had a lovely thanksgiving🙏 I read my job offer letter and it only states laptop and I was emailed by HR to come to the office to pick up my equipments. My friend who works there said we are also provided with 2 big screens & frankly speaking I’m used to working from a monitor vs laptops small screen. Does it look bad if I emailed my HR and PM asking to confirm if I will be provided with screens.How should I word it not to sound greedy or asking for things that aren’t listed

Get a credit card. You can't beat redeeming miles and just paying the taxes on the airfare. I don't know why this question is asked so often. It kills me.
PwC1 perhaps because people want cheaper airfare based on a corporate negotiated rate rather than spending ridiculous amounts to get one flight roundtrip from a CC bonus
Calling bs on the free status... the firm might have got you something from an airline but it doesn't last; not to mention only being the lowest level of status. But more importantly, you're not thinking long term... going after the million mile achievement (status for life if you hit that). Using miles for flights won't count toward that balance. As a rule, I only use miles for the SO, or better, to upgrade a paid ticket (better dollar per mile conversion).

Define ridiculous amount. There are cards where you get the points on first purchase.
PwC 1 - You gotta pay for the ticket if you want to earn flight miles for status... you use your award miles for your significant other who might not worry about keeping their status. I can't can't count the number of trips where I have to call to link the two itineraries (the one booked using the company discount, and the one booked with miles for my wife), so that if the airline makes a change they do it for both tickets together (you also have to check they seated you together after any change).
We get free status on certain airlines, my SO flies on a free companion pass that I earned via CCs good for 2 years, and in a lot of cases, people don't travel enough to earn status and therefore CC bonuses make the most sense.
