Any current Andersen employees have an update on how the trial period of the hybrid model went and what they have officially established now? Worked there until July and would love to come back eventually if they were more flexible than required number of days in the office.

Hybrid model has been on pause with the increase in numbers of Covid… but when we do start it’s two times a week for practice no matter your level.

I think every office is different. I’m in LA and we’re still 100% remote. They were planning on doing “Connected Thursdays” for trainings/social events and one additional core day per week, but Omicron has pushed that out for now.

Yeah the office I was headed by NY and the policy was 3 days in for associates, 2 days for everyone else and 2-3 people were grandfathered in to be fully remote since they lived further away (close to where I live now) and worked out of a small office that was closed due to Covid. I am hoping one day to come back and be mainly remote and only come in for important trainings and client meetings but we’ll see

Asking for advice: Hi ladies, how do you tell your SO that you want private time with your friends/colleagues? For context, my SO and I have been living together for 2 years. He doesn’t have a lot of friends and is a quiet type. His current friends are all our mutual friends. We do enjoy spending time just us two a lot, especially during this pandemic. However, I do have a group of colleagues/friends that I’m close to and usually prefer to hang with them seperately. (cont. in comment)

So about quiet quitting, at another job I was in I felt I was getting more and more tacked onto my job and picking up the slack of everyone else. I told my boss that I was doing work that was in someone else’s job description and it would be nice if they could help me out by doing their job. He told me, “But you’re so much better at it.” Looking back, I think the whole team was quiet quitting and he was resting on me and so I real quit. What are ya’lls thoughts? Have you ever done it?

Hi tax 🐠,

I have a question for those who prep individual tax returns. My parents claim my grandfather as a dependent on their tax return and due to their low income, receive PTC for the premiums they pay on his insurance (not eligible for medicare). However, would it be advantageous to have him file for his own tax return (he stays with my parents and doesn't have his own proof of residency via bills). If so, can he get PTC if his income is 0?
