My employer has told me what my year end bonus is going to be and that it’ll be paid out on 12/31 - I’ve accepted a position elsewhere, if I put in my notice now would they not pay me out the bonus I’ve rightfully worked for? I could not find any policies in our handbook about it

Hi everyone, I’ve been trying to land my first product design role and I can’t seem to get my foot in the door. Had my performance review August 3rd. My boss could tell I was upset about a messily 5% raise after getting my degree etc. (recent post). He asked what range I’d like to be in, and I responded in a fashionable matter by comparing median salaries in the area. He said he would try and get me in that range. But has taken over a month to “think” about it. There shouldn’t really be much to think about? Either he wants me or he doesn’t, right? At this point I’m losing money and and motivation.
