In the past I would use Brightscope to search companies 401k ratings. They have since been acquired by ISS and they no longer offer this information publicly. I am interested in seeing details about your company.
(1) 401k plan provider
(2) company match
(3) option to purchase additional PTO
For example, at my company GDIT
(1) Fidelity
(2) 100% match up to 3% of your salary, then 50% match for the next 3%, making a total of 4.5% of your salary
(3) yes, up to 40 additional hrs

I wouldn’t classify myself as an OCM consultant, but I’ve worked on OCM as a part of the Human Capital offering. My most recent project has been pretty chill. I worked on developing an OCM strategy for the development of an SAP finance system. I have heard of crazy OCM projects though, so I’m pretty sure there’s a spectrum.
I’m in Chicago, but as an experienced hire with an MBA from a non-top 10 school, I came in at $135K with up to a 23% bonus.
Experienced hire C in Houston in Human Capital going in about 18 months at the firm. Non-MBA graduate degree. Currently at 91k. Note: I don’t care about climbing the corporate ladder, titles, etc. so I’m probably on the lower end of the pay. Those who bust their ass, have a strong local network in energy, etc. are probably destined for greatness. My industry interests are totally different and my network is not local.
Side note- cost of living here is great so I’m really happy with my take home pay.
Experience: tight knit office, lots of opportunity to network with great, talented people. I have a phenomenal counselor and I’ve made great connections, local and everywhere else. Again, with Houston being the energy capital, that seems to be where most of the work is, most of the partners sit, and where most people align themselves. I found that challenging trying to build my network outside of all that, but that’s just my personal interests and perspective. Honestly a great office and with that comes a lot of opportunity.
