Any Deloitters can share a little bit on how the pension works? From what I see 401k is 25% match of 6% of salary. Then pension is 1.5% of base?

Pension formula is more complex where it grows based on your age + tenure at Deloitte. But overall, I’ve always said I would prefer a 6% 401k match vs the big 4 pensions (excluding partner pensions).

Correct

That doesn’t seem very good at all then? Essentially a little under 3% since pension doesn’t factor in bonus?

Do you pay year end taxes on dividends received for holdings in a brokerage account, even if those dividends are reinvested? Is it inescapable that we have to pay taxes on such dividends? Or would the only way to basically hold those positions in a tax deferred/advantaged account (IRA, 401k, etc)?
