MBB or FAANG biz ops?

Had only one call with my TL in first two months. Few weeks later, on workday I noticed that my TL got reassigned. Contacted him and have setup regular catch-ups. He dropped a bomb that he is leaving and I will be reporting to partner. Partner is time poor and no feedback is offered. This is my first consulting role and I feel I am not receiving enough support. Few people are helping to learn the ropes but WFH has exacerbating the problem. I’ve been thinking of making a switch from audit to TAS. I’m currently a S1 (2 busy seasons experience), and rated as a top performer at my firm. I’m contacted by Kroll, but recruiters there told me that since I haven’t got any TAS experience, I should be applying for their Analyst role instead of Senior Associate. Honestly, I want to switch to TAS but not that desperate to leave my firm. Anyway, I just wonder if you guys have the same situation and usually how long it takes to get promoted?

Is there anyway to pass off 2 years of p&c underwriting and 1.5 of management liability underwriting as 3.5 years experience? All at the same company. I want to apply for roles as a senior underwriter.

Hello! I’m currently a Administrative assistant now working at a major medical system in Baltimore.
