I was trained in informatica and currently work in a support project using Talend and Datastage. K have 1.3 years experience. Is this ETL career good or I should look for some other technology. web development doesn't interest me even when I tried during my college days and also I'm not so good at coding.
Please suggest something as I'm feeling I'm not learning much in this project. This project is very hectic and the management is not at all good. I work for 12hrs n its affecting my health.

I have had a production company in NY (basically freelance) and produced and directed for 10 years now. Recently decided I want some stability and benefits, etc. so looking to switch to a full time position somewhere I can dig in.

I have been applying to hundreds of producer/video positions and haven't gotten so much as an interview or follow up email from any of them.

Are agency PMs paid more than brand side PMs? I work at a small brand and we don’t project manage Verizon type high paying clients nor are we a fortune100 tech company. We had an important project stakeholders meeting for which I prepared a presentation, delivered the presentation and answered some difficult questions in the Q&A. I ensured a few of the stakeholders that I'd follow up with some interesting links.

When I wake up at 4 am to go to the bathroom and can’t fall back to sleep (I’m in my third trimester), is it weird that I just want to get work done for a couple of hours and start later in the day, catching up sleep in the morning? Vs. read a book or try to fall back to sleep (sometimes it takes me 1.5 hours - so I’m like, might as well work?)

I have 1 job offer that is an hour away and pays 45k, after negotiations (Research Associate Position at a University) .

I have just interviewed for a position closer to home and a base salary of 65k, but haven’t heard back from them in about 2 days (He said he would make a decision by yesterday and I’ve reached out).
I have to decide on the first offer by Thursday but I haven’t heard back from the second yet. Thoughts on next move?

Agency SEOs, how supported are your teams/departments? Do you feel like media & planning teams could forget you exist? Are you staffed properly? Used for new biz, then given virtually no staff?

In my last two (big) agency jobs, I’ve been paired up with Art Directors who have design backgrounds and very little, if any, conceptual experience. This means I end up coming up with a bunch of ideas, and they may bring one to the table. Should I ever bring this up to my CD?
