Eliminate wheat, rice, milk/dairy and spices for a week. Replace grains with Cauliflower rice during that week. If there is any improvement, add back one at a time and determine what is your trigger food.

I have colitis and all of my symptoms disappeared when I changed my diet. I focus on eating mostly protein, vegetables, and fruit. Started feeling a lot better and having more energy. Consider cutting out processed food and refined carbs like bread. I like substitutes like cauliflower rice and spaghetti squash.

I’m kind of a nut though so I would start by cutting out as many processed foods as possible. Good luck!

As a counterpoint, I also have colitis and my symptoms rarely depend on my diet. I agree with others to do an elimination diet and see if anything in particular is triggering your symptoms, but it’s also possible they’re related to your stress levels or something else. I recommend the app Cara for tracking symptoms. If you don’t see any correlations after a few months, talk to your GP and/or see a specialist.

I have ibs and colitis. My doc told me the ibs usually has to do with food and the colitis is more random or stress related.

I cut out coffee, lactose, spicy foods, beans completely I try to go easy on processed food, gluten, beer and other alcohol. Definitely no smoking cigarettes (obviously). I try to limit carbonated beverages. And also just need to keep portions smaller and overall eat less.

For the colitis, I try to sleep at least 8 hours, limit stress and excessive travel, excessive work, family stress, etc

Celery juice on empty stomach has been helping

I’m very new to this journey. I’m 37, husband is 34. Went off birth control mid May, periods have been regular and normal since June. I tested my ovulation in June with test strips and did have LT surge. Haven’t tested with strips since (things got hectic) but have been tracking everything on Flo so still having sex and TTC. Im testing with strips again regularly this cycle and it seems I’m not ovulating. Trying not to freak out. I don’t have a history of PCOS or really none of the symptoms.

Remotest you hadn’t been diagnosed but you graduated college - you don’t have ADHD.
Do not try to relate to someone who has ADHD. Symptoms v disorder … you likely just have symptoms here and there. If you had the disorder, you wouldn’t have made it this far without knowing.

However, the meds are great, and good luck getting them!

I've constantly struggled writing or reading emails. Often, I spend 4 or 5 times as long to compose an email than most others; The same goes for reading through long emails, as I could never focus. This is having a toll on my work/life balance and mental health, as I am having to constantly work late or weekends to play catchup.
