Is thr any salary advance option in EY India?
What will be the inhand salary

I know someone talked about it earlier but I’m going to be a mid year promoted S1 making almost 96k a year. Then comes May I’ll be promoted to S2 making I would assume 105k. All the roles I have been offered in industry are offering only a max of 110k that I’ve seen. I only have 2 YOE starting in January. Am I being money hungry or should I expect more? I know people always said when you leave public as a senior to look for a jump of 20-30% in salary. I am in a HCOL btw PwC EY KPMG Deloitte

I don’t know anything about this subject but I highly suggest you talk to a lawyer.

Hire an attorney.
I’m sorry you’re going through this.
Usually inherentance is not considered in divorce when comes to splitting assets, only the assets acquired during marriage. As others said, may need to consult a divorce attorney.
Get an attorney asap before you go broke
A one time inheritance is unlikely to materially impact alimony, but only a CA attorney can tell you for sure.
Talk to family and divorce lawyer instead of FB
I just came here to say I do not have an opinion, but suggest you talk to an attorney

Is that not an opinion
Have you been married for more than 10 years? If no you are screwed, lifetime alimony..
If you are close to the 10 year mark, get divorced ASAP
That’s a california thing

California’s a tough state for this, but you already know that. We used to live in Cali and my husband is licensed there. Good luck!
If she makes 5x your salary and has done since you got married, she may owe you alimony (unless you accrued substantial assets outside your salary). Does she think it’s always the woman who gets alimony?!
Obviously, I’m not a lawyer, so please speak with one.
Ohhh initially I read it as a huge inheritance AND a salary 5x his salary.
